Parent's Night Out


Starport will be hosting Parent’s Night Out “Robotics Workshop and Build Your Own Bot Event” on July 21st at 6pm. Participants will tinker and build their own Brushbots as they learn about FIRST competitions, programming and robotics.

Demonstration and workshop will be administered by Advancing Stem for Students in South Texas (ASSiST). ASSiST is a volunteer organization formed to for the purpose of advancing STEM for students in South Texas, ASSiST's mission statement is "to empower students of all ages to collaboratively explore, learn, and lead using science, technology, engineering, and math.

Upcoming Dates:  July 21, 2017
Time:  6:00-10:00pm
Where:  Gilruth Center Gymnasium
Ages:  5-12
Cost:  $20/first child | $10/each additional child

Register at the Gilruth Center front desk or online by the Wednesday prior to the date of event to ensure your spot and receive discounted price.  After Wednesday, June 21st, the price will be $25/first child and $15/each additional child.
