The Gilruth Center has several conference and training rooms available at no cost which can be used to fulfill NASA mission-related purposes for events such as business meetings or seminars, employee training, organization retreats, and "all-hands" meeting by JSC employee team members, NASA organizations, and Starport Partner organizations.  Additionally, many rooms may also be used for unofficial business by internal or external groups for a fee.   Catering is available for purchase for any event.  

Gilruth Center Room Descriptions:

The Alamo Ballroom

The Discovery Room (formerly The San Jacinto Room) is a small dining room located next to The Alamo Ballroom that can accommodate seated dinners for up to 40 guests. The room may also be used for small meetings, presentations, and receptions and is always set with round tables seating 6 guests each. Maximum capacity is 49.

The Lone Star Room is a medium sized dining room that can accommodate seated dinners for up to 54 people (with dance floor). The room is located upstairs and can be used for meetings, presentations, and banquets. The Lone Star Room is always set with round tables seating 6 guests. Maximum capacity is 100 (with tables removed). Polycom available. 

The Longhorn Room  is a classroom located in the main hall on the second floor. The room can accommodate 49 people max when set auditorium style and 40 people when set classroom style (long tables in rows with all guests facing the front of the classroom). Polycom available.

The Coronado Room is a classroom located in the main hall on the second floor. The room can accommodate 49 people max when set auditorium style and 30 people when set classroom style. Polycom available.

The Brazos Room is a classroom located upstairs in The Gilruth Center. This room can accommodate 20 guests, and is always set up classroom style. Polycom available.

The Rio Grande Room is a conference room located next to the elevator on the second floor. The room holds a conference table that can seat up to 12 guests. Polycom available.

The Live Oak Pavilion (100 or more people) and The Bluebonnet Pavilion (50 or more people) are both available for outside events. Kegs and grills can be purchased & rented from The Gilruth Center for your pavilion event.
