The Alamo Ballroom is an elegant ballroom with a stage located downstairs in The Gilruth Center. The room can accommodate a 250 person seated dinner (with a dance floor), a 600 person reception (standing room only), or can be used auditorium style (400 max) for meetings and presentations.
The Alamo Ballroom, when used to fulfill NASA mission-related purposes, is available at no cost for JSC employee team members, NASA organizations, and Starport Partner organizations. Whether you are holding a business meeting or seminar, employee training, organization retreats, or "all-hands" meetings, Starport can help fulfill your needs.
The Alamo Ballroom may also be used for unofficial business by internal or external groups for a fee for events such as weddings, anniversary celebrations, family reunions, etc.
Catering for any event is available through JSC's Food Service Provider/CulinArt and by a full list of other approved caterers.
